CSULB Associated Students
The heart of student governance, and a source of support for all student organizations on campus, the Associated Students, Incorporate (ASI) is located in and manages the University Student Union.
Arts Ink
Arts Ink is a group of students who wish to see extraordinary artistic collaborations nurtured and enacted here at Cal State Long Beach. As an organization we exist to act as a catalyst for creative endeavors, holding interdisciplinary collaboration as a starting point for art education and a key ingredient for the success of our graduates as they prepare for the professional realm. Arts Ink, also known as the College of the Arts Student Council, represents all students from the Visual Arts, Dance, Design, Film & Electronic Arts, Music, and Theatre Arts departments at California State University, Long Beach.
Bob Cole Conservatory of Music
The Bob Cole Conservatory of Music has local chapters of both Sigma Alpha Iota and Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia national music fraternities, as well as organizations that originated from the Conservatory and its students.
CSULB Dance Collaborative
CSULB Dance Collaborative is the dance major and minor student organization. All students in the Department are automatically members of CSULB Dance Collaborative.
The Design Student Association
The Design Student Association brings together the B.S. Industrial Design, B.F.A. Interior Architectural Design, and B.A. Design majors to establish and maintain communication and collaboration between each other and the rest of the College of the Arts. We aim to create a campus-wide awareness of the Design Department while taking advantage of fund-raising opportunities and events.
CSULB Film Student Organizations
The Film and Electronic Arts Department is home to a variety of student organizations focused on cinema, television and/or radio work.
Theatre Threshold
Theatre Threshold is a professionally modeled producing company within Theatre Arts Department Showcase class at CSU Long Beach. Housed in the intimate Studio 24/26, the company produces 12-14 free-admission one-act productions - by and for theatre arts students - per semester. The company is managed by student staff members who are overseen and mentored by an Advisory Board of Theatre Arts Department staff and faculty mentors.
The Student Association of Theatre Arts
The Student Association of Theatre Arts (SATA) is the student organization to which all Theatre Arts majors and minors belong.
