Jee Kim, EdD, MPH
Dr. Jee Kim has been a part-time Lecturer since 2006 and has brought her experience as a practitioner in the classroom. She has worked for the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health for over 12 years, starting as a Health Educator and now a program manager with expertise in public health preparedness. During this time, she has developed, implemented, and evaluated many programmatic plans, workforce development training modules, and exercises. She has engaged the community in public health preparedness activities and revitalized the Medical Reserve Corps in Los Angeles. In her current position as the MCM Dispensing and Emergency Staffing Manager, she is responsible for creating an effective and efficient system to dispense preventive medication and deploy personnel in support of Departmental response efforts.
Dr. Jee Kim received her Doctor of Education from the University of Southern California in 2015 and a Master’s of Public Health from California State University, Long Beach in 2003.
