Nancy Hays

Nancy Hays, DrPH, CHC, has taught in Health Care Administration since the Fall 2015 semester. She currently works as the medical center ethics & compliance officer at Kaiser Permanente’s South Bay and West Los Angeles Medical Centers. She has held a variety of other positions within Kaiser Permanente, including managing the Office of the President for the regional president. She previously worked in health care publishing and editing for professional journals devoted to emergency and first responders and long-term physical rehabilitation. Ms. Hays received a bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University, Evanston, Ill., and a master’s of public health from UCLA. She is completed her doctorate in public health from the University of Illinois at Chicago. She obtained her compliance healthcare certification from the Health Care Compliance Association. Ms. Hays has taught Global Health Systems (422) and Population Health for Management (428) at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
