Dana Brown, MA, JD
Dr. Dana Brown has been a lecturer in the CSULB Department of Health Care Administration since 2006. She was a professor of health science at Cypress College from 1974 until her retirement in 2008; during her tenure there, she developed related courses in pathophysiology, medical terminology, legal aspects in health care, and cultural awareness in health care. and continues to teach two classes. Since 2017 she has been teaching one class as adjunct faculty at Mount Saint Mary’s University in their master’s Health Care Policy and Management program.
Dr. Brown received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from CSULB as well as her JD from Western State University College of Law.
Dr. Brown teaches the following courses: HCA 202 Health Care in America, HCA 300 The Health Care System, HCA 340 Legal Aspects of Health Administration, and HCA 502 The Health Care System.
