Alain Durocher

Dr. Durocher completed his doctoral degree in ethics and sociology of religion at the Graduate Theological Union, Berkeley, CA, in 2002.  He explored an academic career at Dillard University, New Orleans, LA, and then was able to work in medical ethics in Detroit, Michigan.  Three years later, he came back to California and has been working ever since as the Medical Bioethics Director for Kaiser Permanente, Downey Medical Area. He did not leave behind his love for teaching.  He has been a dynamic internship preceptor and a lecturer for the department of Health Care Administration, CSULB, since 2015.
