Timeline – How long will this take to become a RDN?

How long it takes to become a registered dietitian nutritionist (RDN) depends greatly on how far along you are in your studies. Check out the potential timelines below to get a sense of what your path might require.

If you don’t have a Bachelor’s degree yet (First time or transfer student)

If you already have a Bachelor’s Degree

Students with a nutrition or health-related B.S. will likely be ready to apply sooner. Still, anyone with any accredited degree may be eligible as long as they meet the pre-requisite courses and admission requirements. Check out our timeline for degree holders:
