Introducing the Graduate Program (GP) in Applied Nutrition and Dietetics

The GP@CSULB is a new 19-month full-time intensive program that results in a Master of Science (M.S.) Degree in Applied Nutrition and Dietetics and readiness to sit for the registered dietitian nutritionist (RDN) exam. 

Our program is great for career changers, as anyone with a minimum of a bachelor’s degree and who has completed all prerequisites can apply. We do not require a DPD Verification Statement. 

The GP will begin every year in spring (January) and end in August of the second year (19 months). This program replaces the CSULB Dietetic Internship and the CSULB Didactic Program in Dietetics/ISPP, which no longer accepts new applicants.  

Applications open August 1, 2024. If you are interested in applying by the September 1, 2024 deadline, read about our admissions process and application requirements and begin preparing now!
