Dr. Tiffany Brown
As a Professor in the Family and Consumer Sciences Department at California State University, Long Beach, Dr. Brown teaches courses on development during middle childhood and adolescence, family stress and coping, as well as family development across the life span. Dr. Brown’s research interests include contextual influences on development for ethnic minority adolescents, father involvement, and the impact of study abroad programs on college student outcomes. Dr. Brown is also a faculty advisor to Kappa Omicron Nu (KON) a national student honor society. Additionally, she is committed to the diversity, equity and inclusion work within the department, and serves the university as a President’s Commissioner for equity and change.
