Dr. Skyler Morgan is an Assistant Professor in the School of Criminology, Criminal Justice, and Emergency Management. He holds a Ph.D. in Criminology and Criminal Justice from Arizona State University. His research and teaching interests broadly include criminological theory, corrections, and gender and sexuality in the criminal justice system. His qualitative dissertation explored the life-course development among formerly incarcerated LGBTQ+ adults, with a particular focus on queer turning points. In his free time, he enjoys strategic board games, reality competition shows, thrifting, spending time at local coffee shops, and traveling.
