Kym Cunningham

Kym Cunningham recently graduated from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette with a doctorate in English. Previously, Kym earned an MFA from San Jose State University as well as a BA in English and History from the University of San Diego. Her critical academic work, published in SubStance, examines the confluence between poetic spatialities and linguistic [de]construction, being especially indebted to the labor of radical Black feminists. She has also published a collection of nonfiction essays and a poetry chapbook, with a full-length collection of poetry coming soon.
