Jianna Florek

Jianna Florek is a two-time graduate of CSULB, earning both a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Criminology & Criminal Justice. Her research focuses on Drugs/Drug Policy, Social Network Analysis, and Crime & Intelligence Analysis. Her most recent work has pertained to Social Network Analysis and Intelligence Led Policing as it relates to an illicit fentanyl distribution network in Long Beach. She also has experience working in the Crime Analysis Unit at a local police department, where she compiled and analyzed data, and mapped crime trends/patterns. Her research has been published in Substance Use & Misuse.
