Metaverse Convening Planned for Spring 2023:

Several CHHS faculty are serving on the Provost’s committee to plan and execute an all-campus event (full day or ½ day) on the metaverse, tentatively planned for March 2023. This event will introduce/reaquaint the CSULB community to the metaverse, including how it can be leveraged for instruction and research. Faculty serving on this committee include James Lott, Health Care Administration (James.Lott@csulb.edu); Linda Kiltz, School of Criminology, Criminal Justice and Emergency Management (Linda.Kiltz@csulb.edu); and Cathy Deckers, School of Nursing (Cathy.Deckers@csulb.edu). If you have ideas for topics around the metaverse that you would like to see presented at the convening, please contact me or any of the three faculty above. The convening promises to be an exciting look at the future of the metaversity!
