Laura Carino

My name is Laura Cariño, and I have been an academic advisor for 5 years and worked at Azusa Pacific University, UCSB and going for 2 years at CSULB.  I started my undergraduate journey at CSUDH and earned my B.A in Liberal Studies, then went to Azusa Pacific University for my Master's degree in College Counseling and Student Development.  As a First-generation Latina and now as an academic advisor who came from a low-income community, I have the passion of helping all students and find their passion and reach their higher education goals.  A little about me is that I love watching all kinds of movies, enjoy going to Theme Parks and relaxing in the park or the beach.
