Tenure Track Faculty Evaluation 101 Sessions 

Candidates undergoing Periodic Mini Evaluation (PME) or preparing a Professional Development Plan (PDP) are encouraged to attend the RTP workshops for candidates. Tenure Track Faculty Evaluation 101 sessions give early career faculty an overview of the RTP evaluation process and are scheduled for:

Implicit Bias Workshops

Implicit Bias workshops will be held in Brotman Hall (BH) Room 123A and are co-facilitated by Dr. Malcolm Finney, Interim Assistant Vice President of Faculty Inclusive Excellence and Dr. Emily Berquist, Interim Director, Faculty Center. The goal of these workshops is to provide participants with information and strategies for reducing unintentional bias, and improving equity, in tenure-track faculty searches.

Join experts from Interfolio's Customer Success team for Best Practice Webinars every month as we walk through new product features, common use cases, how to increase adoption, and ways to bring more value to CSULB using the Interfolio products. The agenda is the same for each workshop. Each workshop will review the policies and procedures for lecturer evaluation and will review strategies for effectiveness in the evaluation process.

Faculty Affairs will host two workshop sessions to discuss the range elevation processes.  Both sessions will cover:

  • Brief review of policies, procedures for submitting range elevation materials
  • Helpful tips and strategies for assembling documentation for evaluation
  • Best practices for articulating instructional effectiveness in the narrative
