Sunstone Innovation Challenge

When: Tuesday, April 22, 2025

Where: The Pointe in The Walter Pyramid at 4pm

The Sunstone Innovation Challenge is an annual campus-wide business plan competition. The winning team receives support for their business, including $15,000 in seed funding, and space, marketing, legal, and accounting services totaling up to $35,000. 

We are looking for:
  • Diverse teams to develop, promote, and launch sustainable, entrepreneurial, and innovative business ideas.
  • The pitch will be based on your business plan

*Mentor Assignment will be in the order of LOI submission 

  • Friday, March 21, 2025 at 5pm: 
    • Business Plan Submission Round One - Identify whether you are competing in Track 1 or Track 2 
  • Friday, April 4, 2025:
    • Finalists Announced
  • Wednesday, April 9, 2025 at 5pm:
    • Revised Business Plan Submission (Finalists)
  • Monday, April 14, 2025 at 8am:
    • Final Pitch Deck Due
  •  Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at The Pointe in The Walter Pyramid at 4pm - 8pm:
    • Finalist Pitch Event
