California State University, Long Beach is excited to extend a heartfelt invitation to you for our very first CSULB Community Gospel Choir Concert, set to take place on March 1, 2025! This unforgettable event will celebrate the powerful and uplifting traditions of gospel music, bringing together the voices of the CSULB and Long Beach communities for a night of song, unity, and celebration.

Under the guidance of gospel music virtuoso, Ananias "Markey" Montague,  the concert will showcase the incredible talent of our diverse choir, comprised of members from the CSULB choral groups, students, faculty, and staff, as well as participants from the 23 churches within the Long Beach Ministers Alliance. Together, they will create a vibrant and moving experience, filled with the rich harmonies and rhythms of gospel music that have long been a source of inspiration and joy.
