BMAC Study Room

BMAC, in collaboration with the University Library, provides a private room in the library. This room is specifically designed for students who require a quieter and more secluded space to study. Inside, there are two computer stations with seating and a video magnifier, as well as a round table that can accommodate up to two students. Both computer stations are equipped with the following software:

  • Job Access with Speech (JAWS) (Screen Reader)
  • ZoomText Magnifier/Reader (Screen Magnification and Screen Reader)
  • Fusion (JAWS and ZoomText Package)
  • ReadSpeaker TextAid (Text-to-Speech Software)
  • Dragon Professional (Speech Recognition Software)
  • Microsoft Office Suite

The BMAC Study Room in the University Library is located on the 4th floor, Room 410. All BMAC students may access the study room with a key code. Students requesting Library Study Room access should email bmac-atp@csulb.edu


Directions to the BMAC Study Room:

  1. Upon exiting the elevator doors on the fourth floor, turn left. You will see a set of double doors that need to be manually opened.
  2. Once through the double doors, proceed straight ahead towards the back of the Quiet Study Area. Continue walking until you reach the third room on your left, which is Room 410.
