Bill Jaynes
As a passionate believer in the transformative power of drawing, visual storytelling, and art, I am honored to be a part of the California State University, Long Beach, Illustration Program within the School of Art. With a rich history of dedicated professors, artists, and students, combined with a collaborative present, CSULB provides an environment for individuals to develop their artistic abilities and grow. I have witnessed and experienced firsthand the intangible magic that leads to outstanding work. I have illustrated for esteemed publications such as the Los Angeles Times, Wall Street Journal, Forbes, and Harvard Kennedy School of Government Magazine. My illustrations have been recognized and included in The Society of Illustrators, New York 44 book and show. The American Illustration 20 book and show and the Society of Illustrators, Los Angeles shows 33, 36, and 37. Further, I have over 20 years of teaching experience enabling student growth. With high expectations for my students, I know that everyone has the potential to achieve a high level of work. The seed of thought creates the fruit, and the desire to learn is where ideas are born. Through practice and dedication, students achieve remarkable results.
