PCSW is accepting nominations for the Community Organization Award
Nominations will be accepted until April 4, 2025
The President's Commission on the Status of Women (PCSW) seeks to honor a community organization for their work on the behalf of women. Each year the PCSW would like to honor a community-based organization that has effectively collaborated with California State University Long Beach and has demonstrated a commitment to the advancement of women and women-identifying individuals. Any member of the campus community and any community organization which partners with California State University, Long Beach may submit a nomination.
The Community Organization Award honors a community-based organization that has effectively collaborated with California State University, Long Beach and has demonstrated a commitment to the advancement of women. Nominations are accepted through April 4, 2025- to nominate someone submit a Community Organization Award nomination application!
Submission includes basic information about the Nominee, yourself and uploaded materials when/where prompted:
- Significant Activities and Achievements List (1-2 pages)- This should simply list out activities and achievements directly related to the award, including those highlighted in the letter of nomination.
Recipients are recognized at the annual President’s Commission on the Status of Women award event, scheduled for Wednesday, May 7, 2025.
