Education professor says communication essential in developing school policy

William Jeynes, professor in the Department of Education at Cal State Long Beach, spoke with the Orange County Register about new guidelines on bathroom use that have upset students at Edison High School. Jeynes said the issue is a good example of when the administration, students and parents should be discussions to avoid confusion and misunderstandings.
