In the College of Liberal Arts (CLA), language study is complementary, and in some cases crucial, to a wide variety of disciplines in the liberal arts, including Political Science, International Studies, and Geography. It is also an asset to all disciplines and career paths! From business to nursing, from engineering to social services, from art history to chemistry, everyone can benefit from studying another language.

Ipsos reports that 9 out of 10 employers cite a strong demand for a multilingual workforce. On average, multilingual speakers earn $2-3K more in the workplace!
