Sociologist Suggests Race will Play a Role during Enforcement of Expired Motorist Tags

Jan Haldipur, associate professor of sociology, commented in The New York Times about what the effort to crack down on expired license plate tags will have on racial groups. Dr. Haldipur said the increased effort could make it inevitable that race would play a role in who gets stopped and the force utilized.
