Faculty Expert Explains Existence of a White Badger

Ted Stankowich, an evolutionary behavioral ecologist at the Mammal Lab in the College of Natural Sciences and Math, spoke with National Geographic about the unusual sighting of a white badger by a conservation photographer at the Point Reyes National Seashore. Stankowich said the coloring was caused by a very rare genetic mutation.
