Expert Discusses Voter Initiative Underwritten by Convicted Felon

Matt Lesenyie, assistant professor of political science spoke with the Los Angeles Times about the pandemic preparedness initiative  partly underwritten by Sam Bankman-Fried, the cryptocurrency magnate recently convicted of fraud.  The initiative is designed to tax those making over five million dollars a year. Lesenyie said even though people love the idea of taxing the rich, it is no guarantee the voter initiative will pass.
