Five CSULB Animation student films to be featured at the TCL Chinese Theater in Hollywood
Five films from CSULB animation students will be shown on the big screen of the historic TCL "Grauman's" Chinese Theater in Hollywood as part of the Animation is Film Festival taking place 7pm on October 22, 2023. The films are part of the Shorts 3: Student Showcase all done by senior students and are as follows:

Nido De Mi Vida by Ivy Gonzalez
Solar Eclipse by Zsofia Katona
Peace Offering by Helen Lesmana
Tent City by Camille Romero

8:00PM: BLUE EYE SAMURAI - World Premiere! Courtesy of our friends at Netflix, be among the first in the world to see the first episode of this new series. In-person Q&A with Creators/Writers/Exec Producers Michael Green (Blade Runner 2049) & Amber Noizumi and Supervising Director, Jane Wu.
Sunday October 22
3:00PM: SHORTS 2: Best of Annecy, in Partnership with Women In Animation - the much loved collaboration between Annecy and WIA returns! Includes the short 27, which won the Palme d'Or at Cannes AND the Cristal Prize at Annecy!
5:00PM: CHICKEN FOR LINDA! - From the director of The Girl Without Hands, the winner of the Cristal for Best Feature at this year's Annecy
We also strongly encourage everyone to attend Animation Is Film's 2nd annual STUDENT SHOWCASE at 7:00pm on Sunday the 22nd. Support their colleagues and check out some amazing work from other schools! This screening is also free for students!
