Professor Shares Ideas of Suspected White Shark Attack

Professor Chris Lowe, director of Cal State Long Beach Shark Lab, spoke with reporters at the San Francisco Chronicle about a suspected white shark attack off the Point Reyes National Seashore. While there were witnesses to the incident, no body has since been found to confirm the attack. Professor Lowe said it's unusual for a body not to be found because white sharks typically bite humans by mistake and quickly release them after they realize their error.
