Professor Talks About the Social Impact of Domestic Violence by Celebrities

Shira Tarrant, professor of Women’s, Gender and Sexuality Studies at Cal State Long Beach, spoke with Rolling Stone about whether domestic violence by celebrities may increase physical violence in the general public. Professor Tarrant said that while there is no direct correlation, it does send a cultural message that such behavior is okay.
