Campus Road Repairs

Three phase project to improve road conditions, ensure ADA compliance and increase traffic safety measures in four areas of campus:

Phase 1                Brotman Drive (west of Brotman Hall) and Merriam Way (from E Atherton Street south to the LACFCD Channel) - COMPLETED

Phase 2 :              State University Dr. (between Palo Verde and East Campus Drive) will have asphalt replacement and some new sidewalk work.  Also some road repair work will occur on Deukmejian Way (near the tennis courts & the ECS Building).  Two-way traffic will be maintained for the duration of the project with intermittent lane closures.

Phase 3:               Private road that runs between the PYR Parking Structure to Parking Lot G12 which will include adding walkways and landscaping

  • Total Project Cost: $2,400,000
  • Construction Start Date – Phase 2: December 19, 2022, Phase 3: May 19, 2023.
  • Construction Completion Date – Phase 2: February 3, 2023, Phase 3: August 11, 2023
