Production ID & Registration
Production ID
- Once professors select what films are to be made for a class, and production dates are assigned, the Professors will assign a Production ID based off of the Production Calendar. The Production IDs will be in the following format:
- Class #-Section-Production Letter
- "322-1-A"
- Class #-Section-Production Letter
Registering your Production
- All projects must have an approved Production Registration form on file with the CINE Production Office.
- Graded CSULB CINE class productions that have been approved by their professor in an CINE production course will be issued a Production ID.
- Un-registered productions are not approved to film using CINE resources, to include insurance and equipment.
- Production registration does not guarantee that a project is approved to proceed with filming. The production, resources access, and screening privileges may be revoked at any time by the Professor, the Production Office, Equipment & Production Facilities Coordinator, or department chair if any of the policies or deadlines on this form, the Policies and Procedures, Production Greenlight, or any safety policies are violated.
- Production Registration must have exact filming dates or a filming window of no more than 10 days. Any Registrations with TBA or an undetermined date will be voided and the student will be asked to resubmit with a date. For Creative Non-Fiction, the window range can be as broad as the project filming deadlines are.
- Production Registration forms will only be provided to students by their instructor or ISA in approved production courses.
