Assistance is available for students and faculty via Production Office in CINE-108.

General

  • Any activity that requires sound, video, or any miscellaneous technical assignment that could contribute to film and video production is covered by the Production Office.
    • All CINE film activities must be associated with an assignment from a production class within the department.
    • Due to COVID-19, production support and processes have been modified in specific areas to promote health and safety for students, staff, and faculty.
    • All students are required to get approval from their professor before they can participate in any CINE sanctioned film activities.
    • All productions must be pre-approved by their professor and tracked on the Production Greenlight Checklist before the Production Office or any support may be initiated for filming needs.
    • All students must include their professor in all email communication when contacting the CINE Staff or university employees.
    • Production support may be rejected or revoked at any time by the Department or a student’s professor, if any of the policies outlined in this Policy document are violated.
    • All non-CSULB student participants are to participate in student productions as volunteers. However, volunteers may be reimbursed for expenses by production, such as gas money.
