CSULB Ceramics Professor Christopher Miles in exhibition at Patricia Sweetow Gallery

Published January 6, 2020

CSULB Ceramics Professor Christopher Miles is in an exhibition at the Patricia Sweetow Gallery in San Francisco. Paired with painter Brad Brown, Miles will be showing a suite of recent sculptures which “suggest the architecture of biological systems, with mysterious interstitial passages forming mutable interior and exterior contours. His painterly glazing presents an amalgamate of thick, fleshy colors, dipped, poured, oozing over and through the clay body. With elongated trunks and spreading appendages, the sheer physicality and balance of the forms is striking.” The exhibition will run from January 11 through February 22, 2020.

Congratulations Professor Miles!
