Welcome Tracey Richardson Associate Vice President Financial Management
After a national search with a very talented group of candidates, we are happy to welcome Tracey Richardson to the Division of Administration and Finance as the Associate Vice President, Financial Management. Tracey has over sixteen years of experience in higher education and has overseen fiscal and administrative services, budget, human resources, employee relations, risk management, purchasing, audit, transportation and many other support functions. Tracey has also worked in the CSU at both CSU San Marcos and San Jose State, and will join CSULB in the middle of November. Thank you to the students, staff and faculty who participated in this recruitment. We are excited to have Tracey join our CSULB team!
Insurance and Risk Management Workshop 101 September 20, 2018
Are you responsible for event planning, hiring vendors, consultants or independent contractors? If the answer is yes, you are encouraged to attend “Insurance and Risk Management 101” offered by Risk Management. The workshop provides an overview of CSULB insurance requirements and risk identification and assessment. Resources will be provided on-site.
The next one-hour workshop will be offered Thursday, September 20th at 10:00 am in Room 222 of the Barrett Athletic Administration Center (BAAC). Seating is limited. If you would like to participate, register on the Financial Management Training webpage.

Purchase to Pay Overview Classes begin September 17, 2018
This new Financial Management class is a collaborative effort by Purchasing and Accounts Payable to explain how we have restructured processes to make it easier to purchase and pay for goods and services on behalf of the University, Research Foundation, or 49er Foundation. Learn how to access related resources and forms, as well as the relationship between transactions and Signature Authority. Learn about the new Purchase to Pay website that streamlines the entire process.
View and register for an available Purchase to Pay Overview class. Classes begin on September 17, 2018 and will run throughout the year depending on demand.
