Ukleja Center for Ethical Leadership Offers Stipends to Enhance Teaching and Researching of Ethics at CSULB
To further its vision of having an ethics module in every CSULB course, the Ukleja Center for Ethical Leadership is delighted to announce two stipend opportunities for faculty and lecturers.
The center’s Ethics Across the Curriculum initiative was created to support the infusion of ethics in undergraduate and graduate courses across our campus. Faculty and lecturers are invited to submit proposals for a $3,000 pedagogical stipend to support the development of a 3-hour ethics module in the course(s) they teach. Up to twenty awards will be given this spring. All instructors who have not yet received this pedagogical award are eligible to apply.
The Ukleja Center also offers two annual $5,000 stipends to support original ethics research and to contribute to the body of knowledge in disciplinary and interdisciplinary ethics.
The pedagogical application and research application are both due to ucel@csulb.edu by March 1, 2022. Proposals will be evaluated by separate review committees comprised of prior stipend recipients.
