Dr. Vas Narayanaswami has been honored with the prestigious 2023-2024 Fulbright Award from the US Department of State, Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs. Dr. Vas joined CSULB in 2008 and has established a robust biomedical research program with a sustained record of high-quality accomplishments in the areas of cholesterol and lipoprotein research and their role cardiovascular disease and Alzheimer’s disease (AD).
