Ceremony Check-In & Grad Pass Pick Up

Check-In & Grad Pass:

Location: Gate 4 (Stadium signage and Commencement staff will be there to guide you).

Timing: Arrive up to 90 minutes before your ceremony's published start time. Get ceremony information here.

What to Do:

• BRING YOUR STUDENT ID or a PHOTO ID with your name on it to claim your Grad Pass.
• Check in with Commencement staff.
• Pick up your Tassel/MarchingOrder Grad Pass. This will include ceremony information:
  • Name recording barcode (Important!  Don't lose it or bend it! This is how your name is announced and displayed.)
  • Email address (photographers will use this to contact you about commencement photos)

Procession Formation

Line-up:

• Inside Gate 4 on the Terrace ramp and concourse. Signage and staff will direct you.
• By academic rank (Doctoral first, followed by Master's candidates, then undergraduates, then credentials)
• With your department (optional; you can process with a different department or even friends if you prefer)

Instructions: Listen carefully to the instructions from Commencement officials.

Important Note: There is no rehearsal for graduates.
