Steps to Attend Commencement
Important Commencement Deadlines:
- BY MARCH 1: complete the application to graduate to be included in your college's digital Graduate Recognition Program/booklet, future commencement-related communication, and in both Tassel/MarchingOrder and the RSVP/Tickets.
- FEBRUARY 27 - APRIL 17:
- Login to Tassel/MarchingOrder portal via SSO for eligible graduates (those who have Applied to Graduate), & check the COMMUNICATIONS tab to see emails sent:
- Record the correct pronunciation of your name (optional).
- Check all your information is correct, including your name/preferred name, major, and degree BEFORE April 17, 2025!
- Commencement tile will appear in SSO for eligible graduates (those who have Applied to Graduate).
- FIRST: Download the MLB Ballpark App and set up an account WITH YOUR CSULB email account (if you have one), as that is where you'll receive your tickets.
- SECOND: WATCH the RSVP & Ticket Redemption TUTORIAL (link) & posted below, and reference the linked Guest Tickets Instructions (under MLB App tab)
- THIRD: RSVP to your ceremony in order to receive your ticket code to redeem for your guest tickets (mandatory if you are attending the ceremony).
- FOURTH: Secure guest tickets for your ceremony in the RSVP process. 12 tickets maximum. WATCH our RSVP and Ticket Redemption tutorial (link)in addition to the step-by-step process: GUEST TICKET REDEMPTION (under MLB App tab).
- Login to Tassel/MarchingOrder portal via SSO for eligible graduates (those who have Applied to Graduate), & check the COMMUNICATIONS tab to see emails sent:

- APRIL 18: Senior Send-Off: Invest in Your Success. Application for this unique event will open February 24.
- ON YOUR CEREMONY DAY (May 18-22, 2025): Arrive at Angel Stadium up to 1.5 hours (90 mins) before the start of your ceremony to check in at the tables at GATE 4, pick up your Grad Pass to cross the stage, and line up for the Grad processional inside Gate 4.
