Professor in the School of Social Work receives humanitarian award

Rashida Crutchfield, professor in the School of Social Work and Executive Director for the Center for Equitable Higher Education at Cal State Long Beach, was featured in the Long Beach Press-Telegram for receiving the Humanitarian Award of the California Conference for Equality and Justice.  The award was presented to Crutchfield for her groundbreaking research on college students who are dealing with homelessness and food insecurity.
