Professor says college homeless liaisons help students in several ways

Rashida Crutchfield, a professor and executive director of the Center for Equitable Higher Education at Cal State Long Beach, spoke with Higher Ed Dive about the benefits of having a homeless liaison for students to help them navigate financial aid and obtain housing. Crutchfield said that higher education has recognized a responsibility to address homelessness as part of the student experience.
