Professor Cites Relationship Between Patriotism and Military Recruitment

Kevin Wallsten, professor of political science in the College of Liberal Arts, jointly penned an op/ed in the Wall Street Journal about the ways social division impacts patriotism and military recruitment. Professor Wallsten wrote that there has been a decline in feelings of patriotism among white Democrats which in turn has caused a lack of military recruits.
