New Hard Rock Hotel will be a Boon for City of Long Beach

Lee Blecher, a professor in and co-director of the Hospitality Management Program and Robert Kleinhenz, an economics faculty member and director of the Office of Economic Research, both from Cal State Long Beach, appeared in the Long Beach Business Journal expressing the benefits of the Hard Rock Hotel to be built in Long Beach. Dr. Kleinhenz said the new hotel will be a "catalyst" for other businesses in the area. Professor Blecher said the hotel will bring hundreds of jobs and put Long Beach even more on the map.
