Amin Rezaei, an assistant professor in Computer Engineering and Computer Science, provided background to the Los Angeles Daily News about why computer systems crashed world-wide from a software flaw. Rezaei said security is often the last thing designers think about when building a system and instead should incorporate security designs into the initial overall development.
