CSULB's Center for International Trade & Transportation discusses East Coast port strike
Published October 7, 2024
Tyler Reeb, interim executive director for CSULB's Center for International Trade & Transportation, interviewed with KNBC and KABC about whether shortages of products, especially toilet paper, would result from the port strike on the East Coast. Reeb said ports on the West Coast have been importing additional goods already in anticipation of the strike and consumers shouldn't see shortages unless they are a result of fear-based buying.
