CSULB Lecturer Discusses Rise in Drug Overdoses

Maryanne Diaz, a lecturer in the School of Criminology, Criminal Justice and Emergency Management spoke with the Orange County Register about the rising rates of overdose from Fentanyl. Diaz said that many overdoses occur after a short jail stay when the tolerance for the drug has decreased.
