CSULB biologist studies ways to prevent stingray strikes

Benjamin Perlman, Ph.D., a biologist at Cal State Long Beach, was featured in Forbes magazine for his research into the behavior and biomechanics of stingrays. Perlman hopes his research will reduce injuries to humans by gaining a better understanding of what causes stingrays to lash out when threatened.
