Associate Professor Interprets Religious Support for Trump Attorney

Jason Whitehead, associate professor of political science at Cal State Long Beach, appeared in the Orange County Register and nine other newspapers in the Southern California area in an article discussing the religious overtones for those supporting a previous attorney for Donald Trump, John Eastman. Professor Whitehead told the paper that "There’s a sense that Trump is the savior — this figure that’s not necessarily holy, but biblical — that could save Christians from persecution."
