Assistant Professor Researches Ways to Help Veterans with Service Animals

Jeremy Ramirez, an assistant professor in the Department of Health Care Administration, spoke to the Long Beach Business Journal about his interest in researching how service dogs alleviate symptoms of PTSD.  Professor Ramirez was motivated by his own experience of using a service animal as he battled PTSD after leaving the military.
