Asian Night Markets Regain Momentum After Pandemic

Oliver Wang, professor of sociology in the College of Liberal Arts, was interviewed by the Long Beach Press Telegram about the resurgence of Asian night markets since the pandemic in Southern California and especially the San Gabriel Valley. Professor Wang said he wasn't altogether surprised at the popularity of the night markets as food has always been about the mixing of cultures.
