Shark Lab Director Assesses White Shark Attack on Marine Mammal Off San Diego

Shark Lab Director, Chris Lowe, provided an assessment of a white shark attack on a seal or seal lion off San Diego to Outdoor Life magazine. Professor Lowe estimated the white shark was about 13 feet long. The marine mammal fed on by the white shark was either a seal or sea lion.
