Professor Comments on What El Niño Might Mean for Juvenile White Sharks

Chris Lowe, Director of the Shark Lab at Cal State Long Beach, spoke with the Orange County Register about what an El Niño event would mean for juvenile white sharks off the coast of California. While there were more white sharks off the coast during the last El Niño, Professor Lowe said we would just have to wait and see if the ocean warms and more juvenile sharks appear in current hotspots or possibly even new ones.
