Does the New California Government Reflect Its Diverse Population?

Cal State Long Beach Assistant Professor of Political Science, Matt Lesenyie, spoke with CalMatters about whether the newly elected government in California truly represents the diverse population of the state. Professor Lesenyie said that while there were improvements in representation, it will be important that officials with diverse backgrounds be placed in leadership positions and not just be members.
